Hello experts, I am optimizing for a keyword that has 74,000 exact global searches in google (according to adwords keyword tool) . Is it competitive? I am currently on page 7 of the search results. Will that keyword going to bring me lots of traffic if i get into page 1 ? Feedbacks appreciated.
Everyone has their own opinion of competitive - I would say 74K is competitive. Global means worldwide, so it depends on the keyword. Check the local searches. It's doubtful you would rank worldwide for the keyword. A #1 ranking could expect around a 42% click through rate. A #10 ranking would bring 3%. If you aren't in the top ten, traffic would be minimal.
it depends on the number of serp results, as far as i goes. Thats the beauty of it. You can fin a niche with 74k searches, and very few results. or to the contrary.
hi Derek! Why did you choose adwords keyword tool ? maybe it worth to try other ones, they can give you another results. I use semrush for example - worth to try it.
Mm.. I think i can't explain it fully, maybe because of my bad english But the way it works seems to be similar to adwords google tool. Try to visit their site, there must be a tutorial or description of a tool. I just heard good comments about it, that it can help in keyword research enough.
you would have to have someone do some research into how much competition there is....but my guess is a 74k exact keyword will be nearly impossible. Also whats the keyword and we can tell you the competition...or type into a google search allintitle:keyword this will tell you how many webpages are also competing for your word.
Yes it is a competitive keywords. If you want to get it at ist page of search then you need get maximum back links by using of this keywords. Then there will be high chance to come at first page.
