I posted a while back about selling links (a PR9 home page) and wondered if I could get some advice. I suspect that this may not be the best forum for this, but to be hnoest, looking at the other categories I couldn't see one that was more obvious. If I'm wrong then I guess it will get moved (or deleted?) Anyway ... If selling sponsored text ads is there a theoretical upper limit on the number of ads that you can sell without it harming the value of those links? I'm assuming that if you went a bit mad and started selling hundreds of links, the fact that there are so many external links makes Google think that the value of each is diluted. Is that the case? And if so, where woud you draw the line in terms of selling text links?
Oh, I just got an infraction for posting in the wrong place. Not very friendly - I had stated in my original note that I wasn't sure where it should go and was happy for it to be moved. Why could the moderator simply have moved it and notified me that this was the correct place? I am new to this forum and don't know my way around - is punishment for 'bad' behaviour really appropriate when I've come clean up front and said I may not be in the right sub-forum?
