I have a couple of clients who are making all kind of excuses to pay for the Web Development work I did for them.I charged some advance in beginning but it was small compared to actual cost of entire projects.
Now when the websites are setup they are making excuses and not responding, I am not saying the chances of getting money is completely nil by straight ways but I want to end this fast-deliver their websites and get my money.
I have like 1500$ stuck with these 2 clients.Any advice or a guide to recover my money from them which works out faster, I don't want to take service of bad debt recovering agencies service or something like that but want to keep it clean.

So you haven't delivered your work to them yet ?

Give them a few days to pay, and if they do not, put it up for sale elsewhere.

Its not worth selling bcz theme designed for their requirement & site mostly uses open source script with customization to their requirement,These not sites with any traffic or PR so it wouldn't sell.

If they have and are suing the content, you could file a DMCA for using your work (as it is yours until they pay for it).

As far as collecting the month, it's unfortunate, but you'll probably just have to write it off as experience. Unless they are from the same country as you, it's not going to be worth it to go after them in court. Next time make them pay in stages.
