Hi all, I have recently published the eBook, The Essential Guide For Forum Entrepreneurs to illustrate how I managed to generate income by posting in forums and is wondering how did you actually promote your eBook to achieve better results? I have done the following so far: 1. Invite senior forum members to review my eBook. 2. Ask for reviews for my eBook from my peer bloggers. 3. Email Marketing. Any ideas / suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
You can use Signature marketing in huge traffic forums. Social Bookmarking and demo ebook distribution can also help !
First thing I notice is that you are not collecting emails to build your list. Second thing I noticed is that you do not have it set up with any kind of affiliate program. From experience you will not sell many and you will spend a lot of time and money to get it out there. Thanks for the advice, I will check them out. I did have my list set up for every purchase of this eBook I save them into my own database after every successful transaction from PayPal. I am still looking for a good affiliate system to use for my eBook thou..
Post in forums asking for help in Marketing your ebook. Like others have said, I would get a good affiliate program going... clickbank? How about ebay? A simple eyecatching headline "Ebook - make money online with forum posts" - catch the make money online searchers I'd also improve your sales page, make it a little bit longer and lighter (there is a lot of text compressed into a little space). Like others have said, you should be building an email list of the people that come by your site - offer some free content that people will sign up for (like a couple chapters out of your book, or a mini course) They give you their email and you send them the free chapters or mini-course on making money by forum posting. They get good content and you get a way to sell them repeatedly on your product. You could set all this up to be done automatically with AWeber or another autoresponder.
