that reminds me of that dude that once came here and asked about "what does PR mean, do backlinks help, should I add meta tags?" and his site was about seo services
It's not funny at all, it's always good to listen to others, no matter you are an expert on an topic or not, it's really funny if someone think he don't need to know others ideas, Don't you think so?
Um just a quick look around your site.... some images to illustrate your points and spice things up a bit would be cool. More content would be good. Also using a blue font makes it hard to tell what text is a link and which isnt. Like I said just quick observations...
Way to much adsense. If you're selling a service like "How to Build a Website", I don't want to see lots of ads displayed around the site, I want information. That's why I visit the site about how to build a website. Get rid of the google search box. At the home page is probably better to start off with information links to website templates, css, seo, hosting and more. Rather then only the navigation links on the leftsite. Maby add some more photo's to spice up the site a bit, it's looking a bit outdated to me. Guestbook is not working (don't see why you need one) Question & Answer is some link page, don't see any questions answerd here.
omg I agree with Whatifind. WAY to much adsense. That would make me click my little [x] in seconds. It's too busy busy busy. It's headache material. Add some colour and/or images. Brighten it up abit. Make it a little neater, instead of all over the place in all font sizes, higgelty piggelty. Presentation is really important. People can genuinly make their mind up about something based on first impressions in a few seconds. This isn't a great first impression. Hey, I'm sure your content is quality. I can't comment on that as I know nothing about it. But I do know what looks pretty and what doesn't.
i thought it looked ok... and i thought using 1 set of each type of adsense looked ok (btw...one image on the banner not working.)
While it's simple and to the point it lacks from a design point of view, you may want to spruce it up. Mella's thoughts echo mine exactly. Good luck.
LOL! I know, right. The saying 'Mella giving advice...hell freezing over' springs to mind. Must...stop...learning...from...you....geeks....
You should also have it proofread if you are building a serious site (not just to drive AdSense). ie. Top List of the Best Web Site in the World (that would be a short list)
Remove the search, put the adsense across the top. Put a nice big image (with people in it) where the 4 block AS unit is. Clean up the logo and top banner (less pixelation). Make the footer links smaller. Add more content. Use attention catching headings. Use "Top List Web" instead of "TopListWeb.com" everywhere Add a 3rd colour throughout the site. You currently have blue and white really. Maybe Bright Green or Orange to draw attention to what you want visitors to notice. Use small icons to represent lists etc where possible. That should help, but I haven't looked passed the homepage.
Getting better, Sir. But it's unattractive to see this in the middle of the screen; But you're getting there, slowly. *thumbs up*
