As I have only been at this SEO stuff for just over 2 months now I am pretty pleased with the results I have been getting BUT.........

I am worried about being penalised by Google for too many duplicate keywords in description and meta tags.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    Thanks

PS I got #1 on Google, MSN and Yahoo for one of my keyphrases!!!

    Neat eh!!!

Personally I think that you are targetting way to many keywords for the one page (if you are actually trying to SEO for all those keywords).

Your description is basically country keyword spam. I would definately change this to the main focus of your front page and include just the keywords that you are specifically targeting.

    Same with your keywords tags.

They should be much neater, Actually make sense, and contain just the specific keywords you want to target. Not every possible combination.

    Thanks for that Brad

Why not target every possible combination of keyword that I actually want to target?

Working in a very niche market but with some heavy competition I need to get the maximum coverage to get above the competition.

Don't put to much keywords in your ''metatag keywords'' if you overdo it with all sorts of combinations it would not have much effect anyway, it could only worsen your position in future re-evaluations by G.

    hi,
Arcos i saw your site and the keywords and descriptions you have given in. your keywords and descriptions are fraught with country names. you have repeated same keywords more than twice in both keywords and descriptions.

    what fault i got:

1)your meta keywords and descriptions are the name of countries
2)you have not given targeted key words according to your sites
    3) in description you have not describe your site except words
    4) you have repeated few keywords again and again
    5) same thing happens in description too.

so Arcos you can do one thing you give some targeted keywords according to your site and give a description rather than only words.

give a sense to your site through your desciption so that it will be more easy to understand.make every thing neat so tht peple can understand about your site.
    cheers

Then you could always build a specific page around the country you wish to target and write some great information on that country and how it pertains to your product/service.

This would help you greatly with page count and also give the search engines something to thrive on.

I agree. Create specific landing pages optimised for each search term you are targetting.

Make sure the pages are designed for humans and full of good information (a few relevant outbound links will help) and you will get good results.
