Advice on how to find blogs to purchase

    I'm looking for abandoned blogs to purchase. Anyone have any good advice/tips for locating these blogs? Perhaps using google or blog directories?

    Looking specifically for blogs that are 1+ years old, in certain categories, and the author simply gave-up and left the blog and no longer posts.

    Actually I'm not looking for blogs that are for sale - meaning on Sitepoint, Flippa, etc... Rather, I am looking for ways, tips, advice on how to SEARCH the web for abandoned blogs. Perhaps using special search queries on Google to find blogs that were last updated in (say) July 2009.

    Try the BST and I think I had a tool that I could use to find blogs offering do-follow links and most of them were pretty old 2008/ 2006 or even older some times.

    Searching blogs using google, you can find some blogs that update lately and those which have not updated lately as well.
