Advice on directory submissions

    I have a pretty popular chemistry forum and someone suggested directory link building to me.

    I have spent hours looking at the different services and feedbacks. I really need some honest opinions on which one to choose.

    I have very limited funds.

    Most directories are a total waste of time.

    DMOZ, yahoo directory, and maybe BOTW are worthwhile...

    Oversubmitting your site to directories can have a detrimental effect.

    I have a couple of chemistry-related sites. PM me and we can work out an exchange.

    For $20 per month you'll get your site submitted to every new directory that is launched each month (usually 150 - 200 of them). I've been using the service for 14 months now for several sites and my investment has paid itself back many times over, plus I have saved myself a ton of time.
