Just wait untill .CO be released at the end of July.

    Time will tell.

I'm just here to tell you that it's time to get your domain name of your dreams for one less letter.

at the end of the day i have had to pre register a hell of an amount of names because of this so deep down for me it would be good if it did take off then all that cash is not wasted most not on the cheap option either
but going with your comment i think you can see what i am saying

You are confusing .CO with .COM.CO

    - .CO = gTLD for Company
    - .COM.CO = ccTLD for Colombia

its only a dream domain if it does not end up like .mobi or .biz etc which tbh everything points towards at this present time no matter what you say been in this game a long long time you sound more like you are just starting out

stop repeating the same junk and put something conscructive and factual

Like i said, .co will be more popular than .com in the future because it is shorter. Some professional webmasters think .mobi .name and .info are failure TLDs because they are too long. Now replace .com and you can use .co

Isn't it that easy to understand sir?

.CO - Erm, they keep releasing these new domain extensions, like they are the next big thing since .COM. But really now they are just hyped to get you buy them, so you have a generic .CO, nice but some many others have generic not premium domains so if you aint developing its expensive and not cost effective.

    Time will make it change.

If you look at .NET it was originally intended for network oriented sites such as internet service providers. This definitely isn't the case any longer. People will register .NET domains for commercial use, generally if the .COM extension isn't available or if they'd like to protect their main .COM domain by registering all available extensions.

Also .name was before .me but today, .me is killing .name

I never said .me was a .com, i said .me is winning the personal related websites extension against .name
Also .co haven't been released yet to be considered a failure against .com

    - People with long .com extension will want to switch to a short .co
    - People with .co.uk / .co.jp / .co ...ect will want to switch to .co
    - People with new company name trademark will want to use .co because .com is taken
    - Large companies like Apple, Microsoft, Nike have registered their .co

    ect...

Over the years .com as been growing very slowly compared to the new extensions.

Right now there are more ccTLDs registered then .coms

And lets not forget the 25 years of .com vs 5 years of ccTLDs

It's growing slowly because, pretty much all have gone - Beacause thats how much of a success it is.
They can release any silly domain extension they want, its all about the money they make from it. .buy .gold .gimmemoremoney .stopreleasing
.co pfft. I prefer my .co.uk everyone know it, .co really.. na..

Your comparing long domain extensions with a meaningful two letter domain extension.

.com cannot go beyond 90,000,000 registrations because everything it taken unless you want to register liywdgvckhawd.com that's why it's not growing much compared to the new ones.

You are right. Com domain name is overloaded now. But I suppose there are alot of other domain name extensions you can chose from.

what happens when they realease: .no .go .so .do .fo

.no - The number one domain extension.
    .go - Holiday domain extension
.so - Nothing says Sorry? like our new domain extension
.do - Means "Domain" domain extension
    .fo - Fortune domain

They can make any crap up.
