Advice on Backlinks & Link Building Please

Hi, my partners and I have recently finished a website within the "Niche" of Eldercare. We are looking for some pointers on ALL "Whitehat" techniques for building backlinks.

Is purchasing backlinks ok? If so, where would one go to find the most credible sources? What is the best way to garner link partner relationships? Direct phone calls? We are only interested in about 10-20 good quality links within our niche to high page rank sites. Ideas? Is the old days of reciprocal linking gone forever, or does this still have some merit?

Can someone recommend a "Very Credible" and reliable, and of course "Cost Efficient" source of backlinks. Someone that builds backlinks? We are looking for someone to do it on a daily basis, or whatever it takes to get the quality backlinks we need to get our rankings up.

    Thanks for your valued input.

"good quality links within our niche to high page rank sites": that will be very expensive and mostly, that kind of sites do not sell links. if i were you, i will start with buying blog posts.

ok ignore what people say, buying links its an awful technique to have natural links! It is against googles terms unless its for advertising purposes and if your found to be buying links, you'll be deindexed faster than you can image!

make sure your site has a latest news section
post regularly, submit your site to google news, and also write press releases and other articles to post on some of the well known websites.

The more these are read by other people then the more backlinks you will get as people start to get to know your brand and start to recommend it to other people across the internet.

ensure your content is good and easy to read, it has to be informative or its a waste of time doing any of it

this is the best natural way to get links and increase your brand awareness

marketwire press release with the seo enhancement. costs around 250 for statewide release + niche targetting. works wonders.

The first thing that I would recommend would be to add your site to dir.yahoo.com and BOTW.org. You'll have to pay to get listed in these directories but they are well worth it.

yes submit your site to dmoz, yahoo directory, business.com, goguides, joant, and botw.org. Will get you started and get google familiar with your site.
then submit to directories related to your niche
