    Hey,
I am new on Adsense. Could you please give me an opinion about this. I have been using it for about 3-4 weeks. So I am a newbie in regard to Adsense.

I sell ebooks from the pages.

Since I have been using adsense

    - Traffic clearly went up.
    - Not meaningful income yet.
    - Ebook sells went down.

Any idea is the fall down in sells somehow related to adsense?

    Thanks !

of course the drop in sales is related to putting adsense on the page, that means you are directing traffic away from your website, all though it seems to me as if you are using 'adwords' (you said traffic went up). Which are you using adsense (where you publish ads on the page), or adwords (where google publishers YOUR ads on their results pages and with other publishers)?

The traffic that comes in may be deviating towards adsense ..that may be the cause

It is kind of obvious that if you use adsense on pages where you are trying to sell something, visitors will be directed away from your site. You really need to work out whether it is most profitable to keep the adsense ads on the page and loose a few sales, or get rid of them and keep the sales. You may be loosing 10% of your visitors by just having adsense, which could well be quite a few sales. I think you'll notice most pages 'selling' something will keep the number of links 'away' from the sales page to a minimum (if there are any at all).

    Thanks !

I am using adsense. I am not sure yet is it worth to invest in adwords. I have my own marketing means.

In this case would it be smart to create marketing blogs and use adsense on them while keeping the main sell page free of adsense and maybe use adwords with it?

I also think that it is not a good idea to have adsense on a sales page. The ones clicking the adsense for products related to yours are also the ones most likely to actually buy something. Do everything you can to keep those visitors on your site.
