Advice needed: Whats a link/banner on my site worth?

I got this email from a pokersite regarding my website(first one in sig)

Could anyone give me advice what I should take for such link or banner?

If I had to purchase any such I would also consider the traffic details and then will pay not more than $25 per month..but if this is a high traffic website then you can ask anything like $35-$50 per month

This is just my guess I wonder how many people will actually pay that amount..BTW all the best for your sales..

 

Judging from your sig links I assume you are talking about one of your poker sites.

Charge them on a CPC basis, $1-2/click. That's cheaper than what most PPC sites do, and if you have good quality traffic then you'll make a nice steady flow of income from it.

But without any kind of traffic stats it's kinda hard to say how much to charge.

 

If you're just selling text links based on PR you can probably get $20 or more per month for a link on a poker site. At least that's been my experience.

He also said it was a banner, but the person that posted after me quoted prices for Text Links

But still, no traffic stats so it's pretty hard to give pricing. A poker site that gets 100 uniques/month compared to a site that gets 10,000/month has very different pricing.

Well, I'd say about 100-200 unique/day. Can't show stats really since those stats would be inflated because I bought some traffic before. I'm listed 7th for "free poker money" and top 20 for a few other querys too on Google.

max price you can sell is $50/month

 

judging from the traffic i would go for $40/month but in future you could easily increase the price as your traffic increases
