[Advice Needed] Starting a classified ads site with Joomla

I am starting a classified ads website with Joomla 1.6 and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for modules or components I might find useful for this type of site?
I am using the Almond Classifieds module, and the Kunena forums module so far, I know there must be a few must have modules I am missing.

    Thanks!

    Thanks please share them :)
I would like to use Joomla if I can get it all figured out, but I am always open to different scripts.
I plan on having a forum board as well.

yes. wordpress classified ads theme will work great and you can integrate your forum with it where users can have a single login details to the forum and the classified ads site.

I use the extension Joomla Adsmanager which is pretty decent and fast. Has been stable and worth a try.

I went ahead and changed my site over to Wordpress and purchased the Appthemes ClassiPress theme.
I got 50% off for getting my hosting through their affiliate link, so that was a plus.

    So far I LOVE it.

I think there's another option: Try AWPCP (Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin). It's free with some stellar support (http://awpcp.com).

I have it on a site and it works great.

I tried Jom Classifieds and it is awesome and looks like exactly OLX or Quikr. The design and control panel are excellent.

If you are using J 1.5 series I would give Sobi2 a try. It's easy to customise, paypal integrated, and has some decent plugins available free, so don't be put off by the default look.
