Found my way here yesterday looking for a banner designer and have found all kinds of discussion as it relates to various things involved with running/promoting a board, so I have been reading alot and trying to get myself brought up to speed as the terminology is still unfamiliar... That being said I will continue to read and learn what I can ~ but I thought I would put up this question(s) and see if someone can point me in the right direction to accomplish the end goal. We have just started a forum/website targeting Women Poker Players who are serious about their game. Our forum is http://nonutzpoker.com/forum our site is: Nonutzpoker.com This isn't a knitting circle type forum where we put up pictures of the kids, exchange recipes and ask that our cats be prayed for. We are targeting a specific crowd~ women who are looking to improve their game and compete online & live. How do we get what we have out there so the community will grow, allowing the target audience to find us? We don't want "fake users" for lack of the proper terminology. We really do want to find women who play poker and want to do so competitively. I have submitted the link to a few search engines. We are using word of mouth and we are realistic. We don't expect to wake up tomorrow and have 500 die hard femal poker players. Just looking for someone to point us in the right direction so that we spend our time online as wisely as possible to generate an interest in what we are starting. If someone could point me to a few threads that would assist me (keeping in mind I am a new user and by no means advanced) or just give a little advice it would be appreciated. If this is not the place for this type of question, please remove it. And if it is and someone can help out I thank you in advance. Dori
