    Hi,

    I need some advice...

I have a website, its been setup for a few months - its not a bad site, lots of content; games/videos/etc. But It doesnt really get many visitors.

Today someone offerd me a $3000 advertising campagin, in return they want a 30% cut of everything the site makes from then on. - i cannot afford that much money, so unless i go with this offer, my site will never get this kind of investment.

The person who made this offer said that from this campagin the site will recive about 5000 uniques a day (after a week), and the numbers will increase month by month. If the campagin doesnt work, its fault on him, and i lose nothing. (which is right, as my site currently makes very little)

I would just like to hear what you would do.
I dont know what 5000 uniques translates into, i have a CTR of 0.5% and earn about $0.17 per click. -- i use dreamhost, so dont think it would be long before i needed a dedicated server; $99 a month - would the 5000 visitors pay for that out of the 70% i have left from my cut of the profits.

Any info i need to know, or advice you can give would be great.

(p.s if the person who made this offer today reads this, please do not take offence, i just wanted to get the opinions of more experienced people then me.)

    Regards.

I would think that is not a bad idea. getting a website up is not a easy task. Not sure whether $3000 is enough or not. but initially should be preety good.
