Advice needed for a very simple CMS/script

    Hello everyone!

    Can you recommend an application for a user management system where users can upload files and have privileges like choosing whether files should be publically or privately available. I am not really looking for a CMS due to the lack of articles/multimedia.

    To summarize my needs:
    - CMS (PHP/MySQL) with extended user capabilities (authorization etc.)
    - public/private user files representation

    It would be helpful if you give me some directions where to look for something like that. If you haven't seen a script like that, then maybe you can recommend a light-weight CMS that can be "stripped" according to my needs?

    I recommend Mambo or Joomla for wider features and simple interface.
