I have sold a couple of domain names on eBay but thought I would do something different with http://auswireless.com I have created a small web-site and I am placed on the first page on Google for the term " Aus Wireless " Does adding a web-site to a domain name make the domain name more profitable? I would appreciate your thoughts on this as I am quite inexperienced at this. Many thanks Tinman
As to the name, you could get up to Mid $xx. Yes, creating a developed website does add value to it, but all I see is just 1 page basically saying that you have your name for sale.
Thanks for the advice htmlindex Like a lot of people I struggle for content but since finding this forum I have plans on development. Tinman
For the keyword, make sure you check it's popularity to see if its a good niche. It has to have high searches w/ low competition for easy SEO.
Development is the way to go for sure. Nice domain by the way - surely an Australian wireless ISP provider could be interested in it?
Yeah, like htmlindex said, if it has a one page site, then it wont really add any value, it's only if there is a developed site on it that the value goes up. -Hecky
Thanks for the input guys. What method do you use for finding domains with high searches with low competition? Cheers Tinman
