Advice me please about ASP

    Hi, hope everybody is well. Would it be possible somebody advice me about ASP, because I am a beginning user and don't know what to do. Don't know how to make my first script. I do not know about ASP at all.

    You are doing code in Classic asp or ASP.net.

    I think you are talking about the Classic ASP. I also worked with classic asp for years and shifted to asp.net. Its a very advance technique comparing with classic ASP. so I suggest you not to waste the time for classic and go for ASP.NET. Technology is rapidly evolving There are much more to learn hurry up.

    Begin with running IIS on your local computer which is necessary to run asp.
    Download some scripts from internet. Play with the scripts and hack the scripts.
    If you don't even know IIS, there is a long way to go. Good luck with you.

    Try to run localhost on your PC by installing IIS. you can istall IIs from Window XP CD,after that you can run your ASP scripts there, but my friend my suggestion is not to waste your time on Classic ASP , try learning ASP.NET
