    hi guys

i have a popular car site for used cars - but i need the ability for people to add their car listings on the site with pics. What system should i use to build this? I am not a professional programmer (more graphics and SEO guy)

I dont know if i should hire someone to build this for me? or will something like JOOMLA work? examples?

I would eventually like to charge $5 to HIGHLIGHT the ad, or feature on homepage or something in the future that is.

    Buy a Classified Script. :)

That would be the easiest and better option. Or simply use some free ones.

    Thanks.

I have built a classified website using classipress, adround.com and its worked pretty well. i guess you can easily modify that one to suit your needs. its very userfriendly, flexible and easy to customize. I would recommend you trying do it on your own initially and then see how it goes. Let me know if you come across any roadblocks in the customisation, i can certainly provide u my inputs. http://www.xzeroscripts.com/index.php

I have looked far and wide but found none better then xzero, simple, looks good, works good and is easy to admin and it is fast, does not bog down. Plenty of mods available in the support forum.

Try it, you will like it.
