So I know all about testing different variations of ads for one group of keywords you are targeting, but I've run into a slight issue in my scenarios: 1) You are trying to target either keywords that have a higher CPC and you don’t have the budget to spend a couple dollars a click. Even if you did have some, without spending a ton of money, it's hard to see a realistic average. 2) Very targeted keyword/phrase where there is not much search traffic to test from. 3) A combination of both I run into these issues with almost everything I do because either I'm trying to target a product which is not that common or it's my local business that I geo target to just 10-20 miles outside of the main office. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
if your targeting for a local business, try to keep your geographic location for the advert targerted, your able to show your advert to local people only, this might bring your CPC down. with the long tail keywords (2), your going to need LOTs of them if you want low cost traffic, like talking 100+ long tail keywords. pick up 1 click a day from 100.
I am doing local, but I'm using terms like computer repair, and maryland computer repair....and it's costing a few dollars per click. What would be some examples of a long tail keyword for a local IT/computer repair company?
