My blog is about Asian male celebrities (http://hotasianguys.blogspot.com/), and almost area is pictures. I know you guy has a lot experience of how to put ads on "text-mostly" blog, but with a photo blog, where is the best area for ad? Any advice? My clicks/impressions appr. 1/100. I still don't know it's good or not.
are you sure you want to continue with this photoblog?do you realize that the CPC will be too low that you will actually need hell lot of traffic to gain some decent money?Instead you may concentrate on some other niches and get more money in the long run. Sorry..not want to discourage you..but just my honest opinion.

If your site is image based then use images rather than text it should convert better, that said it might be a good idea to you a link unit below your header but from my exp with link units they pay quite low, Good luck
nice.do not forget to use the alt tags in images.They are very important to get traffic through google images - this traffic source can bring you 1000s of visitors as you post more and more images.
