$3k / month consistently is quite easy to reach working no more than 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, probably much less. Depends on your skills though. But 3000/month I never found very challenging ; $3000/day is though

I know he answered but... Not because someone is new to DP means they are new to the Internet. I've been here only over a year, I founded my business on 1998, started the Internet venture on 2001, and took it more seriously on 2003. So my experience is not showed on this forums. Yes, it can be done, that and more. The problem here is NOT that you can't do it, is that IS NOT GOING TO BE EASY. At the beginning you have to proof yourself. That you have the skills, the discipline, and the passion to accomplish it. You are going to have good & bad months. Save on good months for vacations, emergencies and bad months. Treat your customers with respect and be nice . They are the ones that are going to refer you with praise or trash your reputation.
What the mind can conceive, it can achieve! I don't know whose quote that is, but I like it. If you believe it, can visualize it and accept that a good income is possible from the Internet, then thats one of the first steps to doing it.
Did somebody say $3,000 a day? Eh, I am really out of touch with things. Yes, consistency is the main thing. And it does take work. I learnt that with my own websites and blogs. They are new and I can say that i have only learnt the key to making money on websites or blogs in the past month or two. Makes me want to kick myself for all the articles I sold at bargain basement prices when I started off. Yup, I'm still working up to a target of $1,000 a month, every month but as I learn more, I realise that $3,000 a month is possible. Still not too sure about $3,000 a day but hey, it gives me something to work towards.
I think the person who mentioned $3k/day was exaggerating to make a point. That would put you on around $1.1 million per year, so, yeah, that would be a pretty awesome target to aim for... $3k per month goes to about $100 per day, which is certainly reachable
Read everything you can that is free from forums or friends learn for atleast a month before you even attempt anything to do with making money, get a domain and hosting play with building websites build a hundred different versions of the same thing get it right then turn your attention to money
