Hey all, just looking into creating a place for artists and photographers to a.showcase and b.sell their work. I just don't know what would be involved. What platfrom would I use i.e. WordPress etc. How I would create the payment system that pays the photographer etc. etc. If you have any ideas or are interested in maybe helping me with this project (for a fee obviously) then please PM me. I would advise you to use Wordpress with various plugins. You do not have to create a payment system. Wordpress plugins will fix that for you. You can create amazing websites with the help of wordpress and plugins!
If its about images, check Flickr and Deviantart. I believe they have payment schemes. Deviantart has. With Flickr i am not so sure. If you have really good photos, there are lots of related plattforms. Wordpress is something you yet have to bring up in the Search engines before it sells.
