G'day Everyone I am considering joining up to Adsense for the first time, and I am hopeful that some people could provide me with some advice. My website is www.ewebreview.com (Dont laugh, as it is under cosntruction). I hope to offer reviews and advice on peoples websites and how they can improve them. Anyway, I was after some advice as to what i should concentrate on as far as adsense is concerned. What is the best number of google ads to use? Where is the best place to put them? What category of ads should i be running? What can i expect to earn? What is a realistic goal for me to set? First off, you can only put three on one page at a time. A realistic goal is virtually nothing until your site starts getting some real good constant traffic. You can't choose the category, that is based on what content you have showing on the page. The best place to put them is near the top and near content.

with your site, id suggest just 2 of them will be fine. categories on ads are nonexistent, as it depends on your contents and makes ads for it. you can expect to earn a few cents a day when starting out.
What is the best number of google ads to use? Depends on your ad placements. I personally use 2-3 ad units and 1 link unit in most of my site's pages. Where is the best place to put them? You have to put them in different places in order to see which placement gives you the maximum CTR. Try different ad placements. What category of ads should i be running? I use text ads only. Before thinking of Adsense you should sort out your site - The banner at the top is messed up a lot. Get some decent content and traffic, then think about Adsense.
make ur site perfect n get lots n lots of traffic ... m also new n still working coz my site is also new
yeh make sure ya content is great and of high quality.this will get ppl clicking not because they have to get away from yr site but cause they want to
Just go for three banner ads and for one or two referrals. Put at least a couple of ads with 300*250 dimension as they have the best CTR IMO
