Hi, I have recently changed hosts and am trying to get my sites in order, I have succesfully transferred all the sites I bought from one company but have a site left over! It is the first domain I bought and I have NO idea where I bought and registered it and so cannot transfer the nameservers. Could anyone advise or suggest as to how I can find out where I bought this domain, any advice gratefully recieved. Thank you in advance.
Enter the site's domain name at the following URL and look up the registration details. http://whois.domaintools.com/
Hi, thanks for the link. I checked on whois but it seems it says my details, address etc, but not where i actually purchased it from. Think i need that in order to change the nameservers?? Any ideas? many thanks, Alan.
Try this tool: intodns (dot) com It will tell you where your name servers are hosted and might give you an indication who the host is. Theo
Here's a step by step explanation that should solve your problem. Step 1] Enter your domain name in the box in the link that I gave above Step 2] When results (That you got before) show, scroll to the top of the webpage and click on the link that says "Show Detailed View" Step 3] The view changes. Now click on the 3rd tab called "Registration", and there are all the details you need Step 4] Send 50$ to my paypal account
