Hi guys! I just built westimator.com and i have no idea how to start improving stuff here, is any way that somebody can tell me few small steps to follow. Just a short answer, beside that i will improve the site , i know what to do first, advertising, buying links, any advice is good. Thanks
The About section in the footer doesn't looks too appropriate for a site like this one, so you may want to get rid of it. Secondly, remove the huge Contact button and display your contact details in a more elegant way. There are others, but these are the ones I immediately noticed when I visited.
Thanks a lot, i really need some advice, i didn't know is so hard. Like you see, no advertising on my site, i didn't post in any hope to get something else.
Hi, your site is simple, but it gives me an estimate of $222,450.00 for my iste best-reviewer.com so it's exactly like the other estimator sites it simply doesn't work. Because an estimation would also include what someone would be ready too pay for my site, and $200k+ is not possible.
Your site is very nice. I know the estimators can't take in consideration the human factor, i am trying to do a correct estimate but of course without knowing how much people will pay for a site. That's why i need help to improve it. Thanks for your opinion.
You have put in a lot of effort but still there is a lot of room for improvement. The best part is the link pyramiding where you need to do your best.
Thank , i am very new in this thing and i will try to have a nice clean site, hard to succeed though.
I started my business online 11 months ago and have had a successful first year despite all the woes in the press. I sell quality furniture, all made in Lancashire so we can offer bespoke furniture as well as tailoring the furniture on the site by altering the dimensions, wood, fabrics etc. I used EROL software to build the site and I do recommend it. Yes you do need to buy the software unlike OSCommerce etc but it's packed with loads of features and I find it easy to use. The support team are great too which was a big sell to me as I was a complete novice. I've used PPC extensively to get people to my site but it is now moving up the organic rankings so I'm concentrating on SEO so I can reduce my PPC spend. If you have shops, you must have a merchant account as you must accept credit cards so you will need a payment processor and there's lots to choose from. Your current merchant account may also offer a service. If you want to chat then PM me your details as we are in similar sectors. If you want to look at my site to see what can be done by a novice then google Kettlewood and you will find me. Hope that helps.
