Advice for a .DJ domain name

I'm looking for advice on improving my wife's website, http://www.byrequest.dj. byrequest.(com|net|biz|etc) were already taken, so I registered the domain name in Djibouti to could get a nice, short domain name. I also figured the .DJ extension would be helpful since my wife's business is a mobile Disc Jockey business. Now I'm wondering if the .DJ tld is actually hurting her. She ranks in the top 10 for most of her keywords, but I think I can do better.

Looking at SEOmoz's PageStrength indicator (http://www.seomoz.org/tools/page-strength.php?url=www.byrequest.dj), the age of the domain is unknown (it's around 3 years old). Also, when viewing whois.sc data (http://whois.domaintools.com/byrequest.dj), I get almost no details. I am 99% positive this is because of the .DJ tld. How important is domain age, and can Google calculate this information from it's index?

Also, this is the first site I ever developed. It is a horrible, horrible site, and I'd like to update it with a CMS (Joomla most likely) so my wife can do more of her own maintenance. Any pointers on a redesign so that she doesn't fall out of the SERPs? I understand that I need to do a lot of 301 redirects, but I have questions about certain pages. For example, her karaoke page (http://www.byrequest.dj/25594.html) has sections that could (should?) be broken up into individual pages. Redirecting one page to multiple pages would be difficult without somehow parsing the seach engine query string (assuming there's even one to parse). Should I leave it as one big ugly page or not?

    Any advice would be welcome.

Google calculates the domain age as the age it was first found by Google. Assuming its been indexed by them for 3 years then its 3 years old.

If domaintools don't have access the .dj whois records then they won't be able to show any details.

Don't split pages up by query string otherwise how will the search engines know which pages to index? They don't click on serps to find your pages.

http://www.byrequest.dj/25594.html should be split up IMO.

Also why do you have adsense on here? Surely this will take traffic away from the site and lose business?

I have adsense on there because I offer a couple of handy utilities (at least handy for karaoke jockeys) at the bottom of the page. I am/was concerned about the adsense on the page too, which is a compelling reason to split the page up. The top section of the page only concerns singers in Fargo, while the middle section is useful for singers everywhere, and the bottom section is really only useful for KJ's or extreme enthusiasts.

I wouldn't put AdSense on any pages of a corporate website, it looks cheap and tacky in my opinion and as if you're trying to grab every penny you can. If you've got some handy utilities consider spinning them off into a completely separate website with perhaps some links to the main company one instead.

Or you could geotarget the site so it only shows adsense to people who are in another country.

also personally i may be wrong here but i seem to fid if you use CMS's you dont rank aswel in SE's, ive always found i rank on the 1st page of msn and google doing it yourself (although this could just be the way i use to optimise most of my sites) the only 1 i have problems with is yahoo.

However goig back to your site, people will type in DJ so i would imagine it would be another hit in terms of the use of DJ in which this can or should only help your cause. I was looking at registering 1 of these domains for a DJ i know although they seemed quite expensive compared to coms and nets.
