    Hello Everyone,

Well, I am going to be opening a site similar to shareapic.net which is basically an image hosting site that pays it's members for the views that their images are getting. Now what I want to know is do I need to do anything in a legal matter such as creating my own ABN business number since I am going to be paying my members? (I live in Melbourne, Australia by the way)

I need an answer from someone that knows the legal system in Australia and knows what they are talking about.

    Thank You

If you really want to do it right you are in the wrong place asking this question. You should contact a local attorney.

As volume said you should contact someone local, or even look on a gov site to see if they have any info regarding that. Personally, unless you really think it will take off, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you can use that business number to expand and legitimise the rest(if any) of your online stuff in which case it's an advantage anyway

If you havn't already just remember to check GST, income tax and whatever so you don't end up in the pooper
