Hi! I'm a family physician who has been writing health-related news articles online for content sites like Yahoo Voices for years. I'd like to start my own blog. I enjoy writing about a wide range of new developments in health, but I also understand the importance of having a niche for ranking purposes. Is it possible to develop a blog that covers health news, and get traffic to individual posts by targeting long-tail keywords? I guess I'm looking for a way to be able to write about a variety of health-related topics without writing for content mills. Any insight? Kristie
If you write unique content and consistently publish it then it is definitely possible to get long tail traffic, particularly if you are considered an authority in your area. It may take some time before you start to see solid traffic, but it is possible that it can be successful if you publish quality content often. You might also want to look into becoming a publishing source for Google or Yahoo News, although typically they do not include sources that do not have multiple authors writing for the site.
Unique and quality content is always appreciate by google. Google always importance the user informatics content. So if u used then definitely got the keyword ranking and visitors.
Hi If you have a skills to write the unique and quality content then i will suggest you to go for your personal website and then promote it. sure you will get the very good response. So for his you need to book a domain and then host your website and continue with your skills.
Thanks, guys for your advice. I think I'll set up a website and give it a try. Appreciate the help. Kristie
