Advertising with new sites.

I was advertising on adwords about $30 a day for an ad campain but it wasn't doing too good, so I made another site that is in the same category and does the same things, it is just a little better and looks cooler. So what I did was change the url's in the ad variations and what happens? I now advertise at like $1 a day.

Why do you think this is? The only reason I could come up with is that the site is new and adwords doesn't like new sites.

Realize also that everything but the url's has changed. The only other thing I did was higher the CPC... but that should help the ads, not hurt them.

    Advice is greatly appreciated.

Did you choose your keywords (and negatives) carefully?

    What are the minimum bids?
How long have you been running the new campaign?
    Is content unique?

It is the same campain for the same type of sites, so the keywords should be fine.

AHA! I think I found out why!

Google's cache of my site is my old page that says "Site is up for maintenance"

So... now do I just wait until they get my new site?

I was asking what minimum bid was Google requiring per click for your keywords not the daily budget.
I've seen new sites take 2 days or more to start seeing some traffic.
Unique is of coures good, is the older site a lot older?

You didn't read it right. "more then the $30 a day site" means the CPC of the newer site is more then the older site.
Not much older, but I think I found out the answer as you can see in my previous post.
