I'm thinking on throwing some serious cash into adbrite marketplace to buy advertising.

What kind of experiences did you have with Adbrite when buying advertising?

I've done some advertising through them, its really hit or miss just depends on the site you advertise on.

adbrite seams to care more about cpm ads now, so it is a waste of time using them.
cpc, there are to many sites that will give you garbage traffic.
direct ads,i'll take some ads a week,2,or 4 and they still wont be approved.

that ad is still pending!!
when i buy an ad i want it to start now!!
if your ad gets disapproved or never approved you don't get your money back, you get credit,so you can play the waiting game again.
i'm not going to cry over the amount i'm loosing because it is not much.

I also hate the waiting game and don't advertise with them anymore as it's a hit and miss on the selection of sites you choose to promote on.

I have used them a couple of times - you might get heaps of hits but its not good quality hits. I saw in my logs adbrite server as a number of the hits.

So they probably are doing most of the traffic and not individual one offs.

Never have made a sale using adbrite
