Advertising Services

I have a directory that sells links. How often am I allowed to post a thread advertising the service in the "link sales" section? Appreciate your feedback. Thanks

 

There's another member selling links (or rather cubes) who posts a new thread nearly every week, apparently thus far without problem. I think if you repeatedly post exactly the same offer as frequently as that you could run into problems - ultimately it's exactly the same as bumping your old thread back to the top. It's fair to say that if everyone who didn't get a sale/wanted more sales was to begin a new thread the entire BST forum would become gridlocked.

What you could consider is beginning your sales thread and then linking to it from your signature - that way your deal URL will maintain a reasonable exposure.
