I would like to advertise on youtube through adwords since I think that what I offer would be very interesting for youtube crowd.

I have choosen every possible position on youtube for my text ad in adwords campaign settings. I have also added bepo and cnn as sites to advertise on.

All the sites appear to be "active" in my accounts, but the impressions counter is 0! I am not getting any impressions, nor any warnings.

    Any idea?

What are you bidding to be on those sites. Also beware.... your site may be very relevant both those sites are very fickle. Myspace once slammed me for $250 in clicks at the minimum bid in 30 minutes. I have all the social networking sites blocked for that reason. Good luck.

Well I started with very low bid, only 0.02$. I hoped to get it higher slowly if needed. But reading this forum it could be that I have set cpc too low? Why doesn't adwords tell me anything?

I have set daily limit at $50. They can't go over that, can they? If I can get youtube traffic at resonable cost (0.05$ is max for me) I would be happy to set daily limit much higher.

Your CPC is WAY too low for those sites. Remember that youtube is one of the largest sites on the internet, you can bet your bottom dollar there's a team over at Google setting up campaigns just for youtube.

Set your daily spending LOW, say 10$ then raise your CPC to .25-.50 depending on what your advertising. After you've seen it burn through that volume, slowly start lowering your CPC. Always remember to keep more then one ad copy up and running and let Google Optimize it based on CTR.

    Good luck :)

I would suggest raising the bid to at least .30 depending on your budget that is.
