Advertising On Proxified Pages

*** I hope to receive replies on this thread plz!!! :D****

I need a bit of help.

I have a network of proxies with adbrite on the proxified pages. However they are earning no money. The ad says click here to advertise here.

I am looking towards another advertising company.

Do you know of any other method to receive revenues from proxified pages. Or, do you know of any method to get at least 1cent from adbrite?

    Thanks! :):)

I don't know what the problem with adbrite might be, how long have you given them? I have heard that it sometimes takes a few days to 'kick in'.
Adversal is also an option on proxified pages; it is a pop under but the money can really add up. Some people say that pop unders affect returning traffic, but I have personally not found this. One thing to keep in mind is that proxies are not really aimed at returning traffic to a massive degree, as the people will usually find your site is blocked after a few days. Keep in mind that traffic from the US, Canada, and the UK etc pays a lot better than Chinese/Iranian traffic etc.
Let me know if you need any further help, or help implementing the code ;)

    Thanks for your comment :)

I have placed the adbrite codes in 3days now. Maybe i should wait to see if anything happens.

Also, I am going to try Adversal. But, I tried applying with my proxy before and they rejected my application. So I assumed they did not accept proxies.

Adbrite takes a while to get you started, once they do they have a pretty good fill rate but low CPM.

All the best and keep us informed on how does it develop. Adbrite should not be taking so many days !

The better you describe your site to adbrite, and the more keywords you add, the quicker your inventory will fill. Adbrite can be a great earner if you know how to use it.

Wow, I just checked my Adbrite earnings and I guess it started running.

I only made like $0.03 though.

    That's pretty low.

I wish there was another way to make money from proxified pages.

What do you guys think about pop ups?

I am not sure if you are technically allowed to run both on the same page, but it would probably be a bit of an overkill for your users. People would probably worry that loads more pop ups were going to appear and they would never escape.
I was really suprised when I used adversal - I made about half of what I was earning on adsense with adversal (a useful topup). Some days it was actually more. Like I said before, I really noticed the difference with quality traffic (and that will benefit your adsense too).
For anyone stuck on actually implementing the ads, my guide here outlines how to do it:
    http://www.freeproxytemplates.com/adversal-adbrite-proxy/

I suppose the only way to be sure of how things will work out for your proxy is go give it a go - every proxy will perform completely differently when it comes to monetisation. I have also tried Bidvertiser, but found it pretty useless. Widgetbucks is now getting some seriously bad feedback, so probably best avoided. Adbrite and Adversal are definitely the two that most people give feedback on/ tell me that they use on FPT.

well in the last few days loads of people have been banned from widgetbucks, I'd check out this forum and see the number of people complaining:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

A lot of people have also complained that their stats are being massively changed weeks after they were finally adjusted. I think its probably safest to wait to see who gets paid...

first PayPopUp does not allow you to run any of their advertisements on proxified pages, its against their TOS and they will BAN your account.

second if your wanting to run another popunder on your pages with adversal that is against their TOS. You can run banners, links or whatever with adversal but not more popunders.

As to answer your question prince4life, I would reccommmed Adversal
I made $500 from Adversal last month, and am pacing more then that this month.
Heres a screen shot as of today for ya:

You can also check out my site on how I monetize my proxy:

wow loopline, thanks for your post.

I think I have learnt alot from your blog. Hope to make $200 a month like you soon :D

But, do you know any reason why Adversal could be neglecting my application?

bookm - what kind of quality is your traffic? You get paid waaay more for US/UK traffic...
I never realised that adversal had become this strict. I had no problems just applying with a proxy running one of my free templates . All I can say is to try and have as much unique content as possible, and avoid having too many ads on your pages when you apply. Also pay particular attention to the following:

    # must have a functional layout and adequate design
    # must contain original content and comprise of at least two pages
    # must be written in English
    # must not contain excess advertising

They *might* consider a proxy to only be one page, so it might be worth adding a TOS or about us page...

I can recommend a few good solutions for you if you can tell me how many impressions you are running monthly, and what percent is US/UK/CA based.
