i've just started a new forum site www.sabset.com i've plan to advertise on my local city tv channel and ofcourse my visitors is also from my city, is that good for adsense or not?
You are going to advertise a forum on tv? interesting idea... I would make sure you are going to be getting more money than you spend... and honestly you should probably populate your forum a little before you spend money on a tv ad. Nobody wants to be the first person in a forum, it just doesnt make sense. Even if you have to manually create 100 profiles yourself and just talk to yourself for a while to get a little content up, or pay people .05 or .10 a post... this is money better spent than paying for a tv ad first. After you have people using your forum continuously, then maybe tv ads...
Yeah, i would also go with this option instead of TV ads... You should check out the Buy, Sell or Trade forum and post a pay-per-post offer...
how about newspaper ads? they are less expensive and can reach a large audience. have you thought of that? for your site, it could be a better option than TV ad. people who subscribe to newspaper takes a glance on it at least once a day and have more chance of seeing your ad than the TV ad which will broadcast on a certain time only.
If I were you I would wait few more days before spending such big. In marketing you never can rush, unless you know what you doing. Tv ad in this case is a big no.
