Advertising on Godaddy parked pages

I see some adverts on Godaddy's parked sites. How do you place an advert there? Where do they get them from?

    Thanks,

    Jon

You don't put the ads on there yourself. You pay GoDaddy a few bucks a month and they put the ads on your parked pages. You get 60% to 80% of the resulting ad revenue depending on which level you sign up for. You can add an unlimited number of parked pages for no additional charge.

I signed up for this a few weeks ago and have about 40 parked pages there. Too soon to tell if it's worthwhile.

Read more at GoDaddy.com (scroll down the right side of the page and follow the link to "Turn parked pages into CA$H!")

You make more money by creating your own 'parked page'.

But if you don't have much traffic on those pages..then there is a chance that you may loose some money instead of gaining.

I can't believe people would pay for this service. If they provided some sort of keyword related content, maybe. But $4/month for the opportunity to split your ad rev with them?????

Try namedrive, smartnames, sedo, etc. They offer basically the same thing for no cost.

There are a couple of companies who are starting to offer content with a paid membership. This allows you to build inbound links, submit to directories, etc. Whypark is one of them I use, but their template is rough, and their admin is slow answering emails. In fact, I think he may be a member here. They charge $100 per 100 parked domains. All in all, it's not a bad product. whypark.com

I've got a friend who's coming out with a custom park w/ content site in a month or so. From what I've seen, it will be the Ferrari of parking services.

Actually, my question is not about how to put adverts on my own sites parked with GoDaddy. I want to know where the adverts come from. Are they from Yahoo Search Marketing listings? MIVA? Where?

    Thanks,

    Jon
