I'm thinking about buying 30 facebook coupons with a $50 value and trying to promote affiliate products with it. A big plus is that hosting + 30 coupons only cost me $130 and for that I receive $1500 advertising credit. Even if I only recuperated 50% of the value, that would still be 5 times my original investment. The downside is that you can only use 1 coupon per account, so that means a lot of account creating. I'm quite new to online marketing and because of that I'm looking to team up and split profits with a well known forum member. Tips are welcome too!
Facebook advertising is all the rage recently; but I’ve been trying FB advertising for the last four months and have had dismal results. I came across a post in another forum that might explain why… it talked about what exactly people are doing on facebook. Normally, they are updating pictures or responding to friends or just surfing; very few are in a buying mode. Before you invest that amount of money in a bunch of FB coupons, really think about what you’re trying to advertise on Facebook. It may save you from squandering those advertising dollars. Just my thoughts and experiences advertising on FB; in fact I’ve shifted back to Google ad words, because I’m seeing a stronger return on my investment.
I personally think the Facebook coupons are of no use at all. If you have some marketing skills and can do some viral marketing through images, content and videos, then you can promote your product for free of cost. However if you are new to all this, then better go with Facebook advertising or implementing the coupon's structure. In fact I had used it once to check out, how it works and frankly I was not at all satisfied with the result. The amount of time, hard work and money you invest in it doesnot really worth the outcome Hope this helps !!
