Hello i recently setup a paid posts service which people can purchase posts for there forum either to help it start with new forums or to boost the activity. So far we have had a great response having over 10 orders in the last 3 days but we are wanting more exposure. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks
Have your posters include your url in their post sig Go search diving for forums. Find ones with low activity and contact them.
thanks for the idea although our buyers dont really like to give out the info that we are bought members. Will take into account your second option though. thanks
Just some thoughts: - There are thousands of forums, many of them inactive. Write a personalized note to each forum owner to drum up the 'jobs'. It will be easy enough to find the workers (everybody wants to make money online). - Write articles about forums. Write reviews about forums. If they are positive, people will post them on their site to encourage forum activity (esp if you include THEM in the review - and send it to them with theirs at the top). You can also submit these to all of the article banks. - Start a blog about forums. Post once a day and say something useful, critical, interesting or entertaining about various forums. Submit your blog to every blog & rss directory you can hunt down. - Create a forum directory (LMA is a free script: www.onlinemarketingtoday.com) and encourage forum owners to post their info for free (to get an inbound link to their site). - Join and get active in every discussion forum you can find. No less than once a month someone asks "how do I get my forum going?" on MY forum - and I know they do everywhere else. You can offer some thoughtful replies, with a nice little compelling signature attached to every post. Also, go download Harvey Segal's Forum SuperTips. It's rebrandible - so rebrand it, or become an affiliate or whatever. Give this ebook away free on your site - and also give it to every single person that you do business with (forum owners & forum posters). It'll make you extra money on the backend You are welcome to come to my forum: http://www.selfstartersweeklytips.com/forum/ and scout around - or do a search - and respond to every single person that ever asked "how do I get people to post on my forum??". As long as you dont post it like a blatant ad and are very tactful about it, I dont mind that a bit!
The site looks professional, the prices are great... I think you have a winner there! You might bold that first paragraph - really grab the readers attention. And take out the "buy now" talk in the last sentence - talk up the benefits and they'll order (they dont have to be told, they have to be "sold" ). Other than that - thumbs up!
Its been a great success so far with over 10 order allready in 3 days and 5 orders today. Without any paid advertising i think that is pretty good and when we become more established i hope we can get 10 or more orders a day. Want to be the leading business in the paid posting market.
I think it's awesome. I really admire you for locating a much needed service and then matching them up with people who can get the job done. Smart move on your part!
Just letting you know that your copy has grammar mistakes and should be tightened up. For example: it is "their money" not "there money" unless you are pointing and showing where money is sitting and you are a caveman Example 2: We ourselves are forum owners. "We ourselves" is redundant. You are basically saying "We we are forum owners." You may want to point out that your posters know English well, unless you post in multiple languages. In that case, you should emphasize what languages your posters know fluently. The text kind of has a blending effect with the background. Maybe see if you can get it to pop out a little more OR break it up more. Good Luck!
Okay went through and fixed up a few things that you pointed out what you think of it now better? Maybe i should change something? Thanks for your help by the way mucly appreciated. Also just got an order for the Gold Package which is $250
A press release may be helpful. www.prweb.com has some pretty good deals. I sent my press release out and it got over 14,000 reads. That should give you some exposure.
Thanks half way through releasing a article on posting. Also had another 4 sales today so business is going well.
We have had steady sales around 3-5 orders a day, but in the last few days it has really slowed down to 1-2 is there anyway to keep our orders up. Maybe we should change something do something. Please post your ideas. Thanks
Question: where have your steady sales been coming from? Were these referred to you by current clients, search engine traffic that converted or people ordering after you pitched it to them directly?
Nice looking website Morgan and also good idea. I have seen some others, but they are generally not as nice as this. Kevin
