Advertising in Sig Line on DP - Is 'Grunt' Status w/ 55+ Posts Enuff?

I want to get some feedback as to whether I have hit that fabled "mark" where I can begin advertising things in my sig line on DP. I am a grunt and I have about 55 posts so far.

If I'm not there yet, how many posts would be sufficient to begin advertising my links in my sig file?

Honestly, I don't think people will see a great value in buying your sig link. Unless it's like $1 for a year :) Guys correct me if I'm wrong, but you're gonna need to have at least 1000 posts before it's actually worth it.

Many people post 10+ posts / day. They might as well get a couple bucks from it. I don't think it's worth anyones time to post if the primary goal is to profit from it.

I think you guys are mistaking my question for something else.

I'm not looking to SELL ads in my sig line. I mean can I put links to products that I've made or products that I use and support in my sig file without pissing anyone off?

yes you are allowed to put the links in your signature, as long as you don't break the rules of dp

Wow man, You can post your link in your signature from 10/25 post or something. Read it in the forum rules. You have to be registered at least 2 weeks.
And ya you can sell your signature space to, sometimes you can get lucky and get a 5$ for 5 day offer or sometimes you might need to sell it of at 2-3$ a month. But the prices directly depend on your forum posts and activeness. Somebody with a lot of forum post can get much higher cost of signature.
