A mobile CPA offer for Immodium or something for hemorrhoids would be golden, if you think about it.

Have you even attempted to try something like this, dlm, or do you never leave your bedroom? It's possible and it works.

Nice and fun to read, but a college may have some rules against this practice, if not, you can get the advertising done.

I've already graduated from university...I'm not saying it's impossible, but you sure wont see a decent return on all the time you put into it.

Do you have any colleges close to you, Daniel? If so, give it a try, or outsource it to them for cheap. Then get back to me about saying that the return won't be decent.

Yeah, by that logic you can start a drug smuggling ring. Plenty of money in that business - and it's only illegal if you get caught, right?

But you're from Venezuela, so you probably know all about that already...

I'm telling you - college kids aren't going spend a bunch of money on any product just because they see it written on a white board or bathroom stall. A mobile offer like ringtones might work, but you would need a ton of traffic to make it worthwhile, which means many hours writing in bathroom stalls.

To begin, why you're comparing scratching a wall or a bathroom, with trafficking psychotropic substances?.

I really wish you explain me the second paragraph (so you probably know all about that already...), because isn't clear for me. From my point of view, writing in Walls, Public Places Bathrooms, etc. it's a good idea for advertising things locally.

In addition, for example, if you want to do a boycott against a local company that does something wrong in a town, with some markers and some pieces of paper you can get quickly a cheap and effective advertising solution.

Sure, I understand and respect that each person has his way of thinking about things.

Yeah - except this isn't a forum about protesting companies, the idea here is to make money. These methods wont make you much (if any) money, especially given the long periods of time required to complete them.

Whatever - this thread makes no financial sense at all. You can spend your time writing on bathroom stalls and I'll make real money working for about 1/4 of the time.

Here's a story. Last night I was in a rather small town in Vermont. I had 500 business cards printed advertising a site I recently created. I put the cards everywhere I could think of. My stats have skyrocketed as of this morning.

However, I also taped several dozen business cards advertising another one of my sites to bathroom stall walls, right at eye level. It was an adult site, and I've had it around for several months already. My visits tripled as of this morning, and checking my Google Analytics, a lof of the visitors are from either Vermont or New Hampshire.

    Hmm.

So you mean your visits went from 10 to 30?

The other issue is that this wont be a long term increase, you'll need to keep printing delivering cards every few days otherwise the traffic will drop off.

I'm really not into marketing strategies that are completely illegal.

Nice intimidation tactics. No, my stats went from a few hundred to over a thousand UV's for a rather new site. It was a small town in Vermont so I didn't expect much. I'm in a new town almost every day, and I have no problem printing and distributing cards as I go. It's actually rather fun. I get to leave the RV.

Yes, "skyrocketed" is a technical term for a rapid rise.

And none of these methods, minus the first for possible vandalism (uh oh, bigtime felony there, better stay away!) are illegal. But thank you for your opinion.
