    Hi!!

I just found digitalpoint.com and found some info about co-op ad network, I wonder how do I buy inventory and how much does it cost, I need to promote several web-sites and want to run banners at co-op.

I called digitalpoint and Shan said they develop accounting software and he knows nothing about advertising.

Please let me know how to advertise at co-op

It's free. You put a code on your site, weigh it (validate) and the fater it it, the more you get for advertising.

As for approving your ads...that'll take for ever!!! Rumor has it, it's faster to get a free listing in Yahoo than the co-op!!

You can advertise on other users sites using the co-op...

I do not want to place ads on my site and get paid for it

I want to promote say mysurvey4u and place their banners somewhere at coop netowrk and pay site owners for running mysurvey4u banners at their sites?

Whom should I contact to place banners?

There is no money involved. Co-op is short for co-operative which means we get our ads on other peoples sites by putting them on our own.

If you want to pay to place your banners, you would be better suited to the Marketplace here at DP

Don't say it takes forever ... I signed up a few days ago and
was approved the day after ... Now I weight in at +21,000
and my impressions is raising, so I guess I soooon will be fater :p

BTW ... I see the impressions graph in the stats, but will it
show clicks to my site also ? Or, can't we see that ?

He didn't mean your account being approved, he meant the ads you created

Only impressions are shown, not clicks

It depends completely on your weight (which we don't know)

It also ramps up over the course of a month so what Jona is seeing now, is only going to increase over the next 30 days.

I now have a weight around 33.000 and get around 27.000 impressions.
Have only used COOP a little more than a week and so far it looks ... ok.
I have two ads 50/50 ... But, actually one get more impression than the other.

Really, what I would like to see is the number of CLICKS on my ads also.
That would be really useful to quickly evaluate how good COOP is!

Anyway, COOP is free, so no complains, just wishes :)

BTW, any conserns about the little 1x1 image in the links?
    img src="http://ads.digitalpoint.com/t-1xxxxx-1yyyyy-1xxxxx-1yyyyy-1xxxxx.gif" width="1" height="1"

Is that anything Google can use to do something bad to us ?
Guess it's used by COOP to count impressions ...

The Coop has never been hidden so if Google wanted "to do something" they could at any time.

It is an advertising network (which does result in conversions). Once you start hiding it etc it becomes a link network and a manipulation tool.

Agree, that make sence. And I think it works pretty okay for the money :)
I added some weight again today, now close to 34K, but impression same at 27K ...
And AdSense revenue is climbing also
