I run a website which is marijuana related (www.weedguru.com). The forums and front end are a resource and place of discussion for marijuana enthusiasts. The traffic is around:>
    1-1.5million hits
    350-400 Pages
    30-40000 Visits
    25-35000 unique visitors
    (all per month)

I want to start making some money from the site. Have tried a few CPM programs, most of whom have declined my site on the grounds of its content. Are CPM programs the best way for me to make money*** And does anyone know any CPM programs which would accept my site***

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    cheers

What about affiliate programs? Are you not having luck with any of these? I see a few products on your site.

There seems to be an endless supply of products out there that you could promote on the site such as drug tests and other drug paraphernalia. Similar to what you would find at smoke shops.

You have some pretty decent stats, that's for sure.

I have litte idea how useful the traffic stats are and what they mean. COnsidering the traffic a year ago was almost double what it is now, I have grown annoyed enough, after hearing from friends how shocked they are that after owning this site for 7 years the most I have made from it is a bag of seeds, that recently I decided to try renovate the front end and update the forums before adding an advert or three...

Can anyone suggest the easiest way for me to turn this traffic into money***

Not sure what the terms are from some of the PPC sites but I know Adbrite rarely bans people, Obeus would probably take anyone. Maybe you can get some Affiliate programs for MP3 music or other stuff that just anyone would buy even if it is not directly pointed towards stoners.... If you apply for something like CJ.com have another domain on the account so every Advertiser does not decline you right off. There are a lot of other programs out there you can try to, maybe some Click bank products would sell. You gotta be able to do something with that traffic..

Have you ever tried just selling your links in DP in the Buy/Sell/Trade Section?
    Someone might be Interested..

    Do you have any pagerank?

I printed the original traffic starts slightly wrong...
    they should read;
    Unique visitors:> 25-30,000
    Pages :> 350-450,000
    Number of Visits:> 30-45000
    Hits:>1.2-1.5 million
    Bandwidth:>14-18GB
    (all per month)

I have just signed up to the ARS network, I also registered for adbrite a few days back, but their advert code only produce an blank box with my contact details offering the adspace for rent...Why haven't they sent me any ads to display yet***I will check out Obeus tonight. Any more suggestions and explanation as to what kind of money I could potentially make with the present traffic for my site would be greatly appreciated. The Amazon and seed supplying affiliates I have chosen dont seem to be making any money, which is why I am looking at the CPM programs...how much could I earn through them with my current traffic****Any more I should try*** Have been rejected so far by:adsdaq, widgetbucks, espot network.
