Hi to all you smart people here that know what you are doing. I've looked around this forum and I see that there are SO many people who are wealthy and have made a good business over the net. Now, my question is this : Where do I even start advertising ? I have began with googleAdsense ... i have put in $100.00. My website is currently about 3 weeks old. I want to be printing flyers as well and then distributing them ... now after that .... i have no clue what else to do. Can someone please share their bright ideas about what can be done and how to best advertise a website, because like every website owner I want to be getting non-stop hits and I want to be gettin a lot of them as well (preferrably uniques ) Please help me out ... any and all ideas are welcome as they will all help me. Thanks
Yeha, if we could please, have some details of your website, we can give you better advice that is more targetted towards YOUR website. Is it the one in your signature?
try hiring people to advertise for you in numerous forums. tell them to keep a link in their signature. advertise on digg too and try to get as many backlinks as you can for your website.
hi, yes, my website is the one in my signature .. HCourts.com .... its a basketball community website for basketball players. So now with the information given, what do you guys recommend I do to achieve full success in advertising my website. Thanks
Start by building some backlinks, and doing some social bookmarking. I'm not too sure what your site is about, but I'm guessing it's a social networking site for basketball players. Try posting in some other basketball related forums to gain some exposure for you site.
Make sure your google adwords are to the point, so the user doesnt waste you money and them the time clicking it. Send bulletins on myspace, backlinks, post on basketball forums with a sig link. Buy advertising space or links on basketball/sports related sites. submit to search engines. good luck on the site
team gets around. ~ And now for something that you don't have to pay for, and it is REALISTIC... http://www.thelist.fm/marketing-advertising.shtml
try to hire seo specialist that would generate traffic and optimize your page to become search engine friendly and get natural quality traffic coming from search engine. it is as good as buying ad space and text links.
and reemember to keep your content fresh. i had a great site with great content. shot up to PR6. keywords were doing great in search engines and i was happy to sit back and watch my stats shoot up. bad move - when i stopped freshening up the content, it died right out of search engines. its a PR0 and i'm starting from scratch. webmastering is a long-term commitment.
