Advertisers that Allow Re-directs?

Does anyone have examples of advertisers with $5+/lead/sale payouts that allow re-directs?
I'm surprised by the number of advertisers on CJ that do not allow this. Their landing pages should convert best, after all, and it's one less click for the potential customer?!

I've only just started looking into affiliate stuff. Sorry for the off topic, kinda, question...but what is a redirect?

    Thanks

A couple of reasons they don't are that they want affiliates that do something to add value and bring them traffic they would not otherwise have gotten on their own. Plus many times when affiliates re-direct their sites can over take the merchants top rankings and knock the merchant out of the serps for their own keywords.

Jester - by re-direct I am referring to pointing my PPC ads directly to the merchant, and not to own of my own landing pages. Normally a redirect is when a user requests a certain page, but that site automatically re-directs them to a different page. I'm sure others can explain it better, but it's a fairly simple concept. And don't be sorry to ask a question - that's what this is all about.

Thanks 5Star. I guess they don't have to give the 10-20% cut if it comes from the affiliate, so that part of it makes sense. Maybe I should become a merchant and let my affiliates do the selling!

We allow this on MaxBounty.com. For the campaigns which are self-directed by the merchant, it's always best to double check with them, but I've never heard of a problem with this. Many of our affiliates do it.

Thanks JP! I'll have to check out MaxBounty. I recently joined AzoogleAds and CPAEmpire, both of which seem to be much better than CJ for CPA payouts. If you know of any topics that are hot sellers from your merchants at MaxBounty, please let me know via PM.
    Thanks again.
