I currently run a tech site which has many guides on how to do computer related tasks (how to identify ram, fix driver issues etc..). I am trying to develop a reputation that my site can be trusted and that leads to a problem. I am looking for advertising networks (CPM) that have tech related advertisements. I have tried BurstMedia however they have ads such as "SPANK THE MONEY" or "FREE SMILIES FOR YOUR DESKTOP" which really hurts our credibility as a tech site. Can anyone recommend a good tech related CPM ad network?
You're looking for a cost per million ad network about tech? You're chances of getting that are most likely to be really low. You'd rather try targeted ads or anything like it but remember it's not "really" possible to get the ads to show exactly what you want except if you have the possibility to accept/deny each and every entry which would appear on your site (using phpnewads for example)
I agree with tomzx, you'd be better off negotiating ad space deals with site owners in forums like this one to keep control over exactly what type of ads appear. You can still sell your space at a CPM/CPC rate and you can approve only the advertisers you want. Good luck, Scott
