OK So I'm a CJ newb. I've got my site already and some decent traffic, just trying to find better ways to monetize it. CJ has a ton of programs in my niche, so I'm pretty excited. I just completed the first application and got into the account management section for the first time and I got my first banner set up no problem. Applied to the advertiser, got approved (instantly?), and set up the code on my site. I got to set up my second banner and when I try to activate the advertiser I'm automatically declined without any sort of explanation. It suggests to contact the affiliate manager at that company, but I'm not sure exactly what to say. Do I need to include my account name or ID numbers so they can manually approve it or what? Anyone been denied by the automatic process and then get in to that advertiser's program later anyway? I have a feeling CJ is going to keep me busy...
If I ever get denied automatically I just forget about that advertiser. Not worth my time to try and get approved.
Ahhh I am tempted to do so, but its a perfect opportunity (I would say too good to be true but I have been on the other side of this niche too and I know how much the advertisers are making) Basically, a free signup that provides a complementary purpose to my existing site. I might recommend the service for the benefit of my visitors even if they weren't paying me - its that spot on.
If it is that good find some contact information and give them a phone call, it works a lot better than re-applying
Just go to their site and find contact support, then contact them about your interest with their affiliate program.
i've had a few where i was denied initially but then re-applied a few months later and was accepted. so there might be some sort of "length of time as an affiliate" or traffic or earnings minimum for certain programs.
