advertisements on Images in Wordpress?

    Ok this is a basic query. I would like to ad, advertisements on the images in my blog. All the images open up in a separate page outside my template. And so on the final page I just have my image.

    How can I serve ad's on my images??? Or how can I pull the images to show under my template or something..

    Any suggestions?

    what do you mean by 'serving ads on your images'? You mean to make your images lead to the sponsor's product?
