Advertise Your Site

This is quite a different way of advertising, but I have found it works. I occasionally play a game called Soldat, and since I recently started a website, I thought I'd try to advertise on it. I made my name www.w4t3r.com, and after a few games, I quit and checked my hit status, and it had gone up over 90 (and the site is young, and I haven't done much advertising, so most of that was from the game). Plus, that was only 3 or 4 games, and usually I can play like 8 in an hour. It is good for advertising, because people see your name when: You get killed, you kill someone, when you talk, and when the game ends. So, it works out well.
