I read this blog about the website spotrunner.com on seomoz.org, basically they are saying you can advertise on TV through their website for as little as $25. I found it an interesting article and concept and I thought you guy would also.

Here is the link for the blog http://www.seomoz.org/blogdetail.php?ID=1100 and spotrunner.com

Those look like pretty standard rates for cable advertising within a market. I own a computer repair company in Lincoln and Omaha and we do some TV from time to time. Depending on the station and the time of day your ad runs, you can find rates like those on your own.

Another thing I would remind you of is that you also need to have a commercial to run. A "standard" 30 second spot produced by Cox Communications in Omaha Nebraska runs about $400. The agency production price in Lincoln Nebraska can be as low as $1,000 or as high as $10,000 just to write the spot.

Then there is frequency. People must see a TV commercial an average of 11 times before it becomes top-of-mind aware. Only then will they respond to it.

I guess my bottom line is that is will cost you thousands to put a GOOD commercial on TV at the frequency required to get a response. If your margins are that high, then it makes sense. I just don't want anyone to think that running an $18 commercial on A&E will bring 100 uniques to their website. I speak from experience that it will not.
