"Advertise on this site" Google Free Ride

I'd like to see how many people are clicking through the "Advertise on this site" link. I think this is a basic request. If i was to really stick my neck out I'd ask how many people are signing up to adwords through this link. And hey why don't we get any cash/percentage for people who sign up. They pay us for sending signups through the referral banner but not through this link. This is absolutely ridiculous. Google already make billions through adsense/adwords, i don't think we're getting our fair share...

Then go into your account and disable that option/link.

By helping Google you are in fact helping yourself too. Although you won't see an immediate monetary return when someone clicks on the link, you will definitely see a long term increase in your revenue.

I'd rather take an increase of 10% in revenue each month than a few bucks for each person that signs up.

I disabled that function a long time ago.
Would rather sell my own advertising on my own site then go through google for a few pennies a month.

Well.... if advertiser really targeting their ads to your site (this is called site targeting ads, and is on CPM basis, not CPC), that may not really increase your revenue.

Some publisher reported bad performance on site targeting ads. Read more at: http://www.seoearnings.com/se/adsense/site_targeting

It also tell you how to opt-out from site targeting.

No I like this link because advertisers can use it to advertise on my site, by why don't you get a referral percentage like ANY other affiliate scheme would give you. Fair enough someone can put a site targeted ad on my site but i want to make some of the money google make since i referred them. Can you guys blame me for wanting more money gez. lol
